Where (and how) do you plan to live in retirement?

This is a question that many people ask themselves as they approach their retirement. Previously this was a pretty simple question to answer. Many people would either just remain in their own home, move to a retirement community or possibly retire to a cottage or smaller community. But today, there are many more options.

In the following video from Australia, they profiled three different retirement living alternatives. Co-housing, living in a retirement community and living abroad are the three options that they shared.

But as wonderful as these living options may be, they also point out there are some things that need to seriously be considered before taking the leap.

For example, for all three of these living arrangements, the need for additional assistance and care as they age is something that needs to be thought about. But for now, these people seem to have made the right choice for them.
