So what is on your gift list this year? Is there something special that you would like as a gift this holiday season?

Author Mike Drak and I got together again this year to share a few of our favourites in our Second Annual Best Gifts For Boomers;

Here's a quick roundup of what was on our list this year;

Inexpensive Priced Gifts

In this category, Mike expressed that he would like to receive books. He appreciates the personal thought and care that goes into someone selecting this gift for him.

For myself, I would particularly like the gift of someone I care about giving me the time to spend with me doing something. After being cooped up for so long due to the pandemic, I'm really interested in getting out and doing some things and would love to have company to do this with me.

Mid-Range Priced Gifts

For a mid-range gift, Mike would like to get a high end coffee maker. Right now he is going out to pick up coffee and given the colder weather coming would appreciate having the ability to make this at home.

I already have this gift but am recommending it to others. An Apple Watch. Now this can be a bit expensive (depending on the model you buy) but I have found that it has increased my focus on exercise and overall health and could actually be a good investment if it helps me stay healthier.

The "Sky's the Limit" Gifts

Mike is planning on purchasing a set of golf clubs for his son that will allow the family to stay active together. As much as it's a gift for his son, he also sees it as a gift for him by giving them the opportunity to spend time with each other doing something they will both enjoy.

I would be interested in getting an electric bike. This gift can be quite expensive (average cost can be from $800 to over $2000 depending on the model you get). But this would allow me to take longer bike rides without the concern of getting too tired out.

So what's on your gift list? Whatever it is, we hope that you receive this plus the joy and happiness that the season can bring.
