60 Before 60 Project: #4 - Enjoy the Festive Lights

Every year, it seems that the holiday season goes by so fast. I talk about all the things I plan to enjoy during the festive season but it never seems to happen.

For my birthday this year, my daughter knew I wanted to go out and do something different so she bought us tickets to go to Illumi.

Illumi is billed as being the “The largest light, sound & multimedia show in the world!”.

And it didn’t disappoint.

The lights and the music were indescribable. As we walked through each of the sections, I found myself more and more in awe as we went. I distinctly remember thinking in the winter wonderland exhibit with all the white lights surrounding me that this must be what heaven is like.

We also were there on a night when dogs were welcome so my daughter’s dog Ruby joined us too.

Anyways, here are a few pics and video clips from my experience. If you get a chance to go out and see the lights of the season - do it. I highly recommend it!
