When was the last time you watched some fireworks?

I can’t even remember the last time. I would always hear about them and think, gee – I should go and see them but just never managed to make the time to do it. So given my 60 Before 60 Project, this time when the opportunity presented itself to see some, I grabbed it.

And I’m so glad I did.

There is something very grandiose about fireworks. From the sizzling sound of the fireworks being sent into the sky to the large sounding booms as the explode over your head and fall back down to earth, fireworks have a sort of power that is mesmerizing to watch.

You can’t help but feel that by seeing the beauty of them, life was truly something to be celebrated.
