60 Before 60 Project: #24 - Do a Radio Interview

This wasn’t expected but when the opportunity presented itself, I just couldn’t resist.  I had the opportunity to share my 60 Before 60 Project in a radio interview.

This next experience in my 60 Before 60 Project just sort of slipped onto my list. It wasn’t expected or planned but when the opportunity presented itself, I just couldn’t resist.

One of my favourite talk radio shows, Montreal Now with Aaron Rand and Natasha Hall airs every weekday afternoon. The hosts, Aaron and Natasha interview and discuss a wide range of topics from politics to trending topics and engage their audience in different discussions.

I received an email from Wendy Reichental (the woman I met who gave me a reflexology treatment as one of my experiences). She had been speaking with Natasha about reflexology and mentioned my 60 Before 60 Project to her. Natasha expressed interested in hearing more and Wendy asked me whether I might be interested in speaking with them on the radio.

I jumped at the opportunity and the rest as they say is history.

I had so much fun. I didn’t have any of the questions in advance and there was no rehearsal or walkthrough, so I had to think on my feet to answer their questions. But I also think that’s what made it exciting. It was a bit unpredictable. The interview itself was about nine minutes long but the time just flew past.

Here’s the interview. Many thanks to Wendy for making the connection and to Aaron and Natasha for making me feel so relaxed and comfortable.
