Some Signs You May Be Failing at Retirement

I’m always writing about the serious side of retirement. But I thought we all could use a smile about right now so I put together a lighter side view of some possible signs that may signal you are failing at retirement.
I hope you enjoy this list as much as I did coming up with them!
You may be failing at retirement if;
This is the second time this month you felt the need to re-arrange the spice rack
You have more fishing rods than friends.
You have a business card that has ‘Retired” on it.
You haven’t left the house for the past 18 months
You don't recognize the person looking back at you from the mirror
You have 500 stations on your TV and you still can’t find anything interesting to watch
You keep buying retirement self help books
You weed your front yard everyday with the hopes that you will meet someone
You have a lot of money but you’re just not happy like the people in those retirement commercials
The only thing left on your bucket list are things that need to be fixed around the house
You look forward to your visits to your doctor as your main source of socialization
You keep talking to the cable news person expecting them to answer you
You keep hitting the refresh button on your email hoping someone (ok anyone) has sent you something
Everyday feels like "Groundhog Day". (here's the clip to remind you what this may feel like):
Now this list is of course was created just for fun but if by chance you happen to be feeling bored or not living the retirement you hoped for, this may be the time to do a reset and consider how you might start filling your days of retirement with more interesting things to do.
